This coffee roaster is without a doubt knocking out some of the absolute best tasting coffee we can get our hands on. My wife and I made the trip downtown from Solana Beach recently to take care of some business and visit here for lattes. We ordered a couple of Lattes with hazelnut syrup and a bag of Verao whole roasted coffee beans from Ben at the service counter. It’s a good deal too because we get 2 bucks off the bag when we buy it with our coffees.
Savannah who is the owner’s daughter made our fabulous lattes while we waited. There are very few experiences more satisfying than relaxing with a well made latte in a porcelain cup after a hectic schedule. And of course friendly service and a chill vibe helps a lot too. Our lattes tasted superb. A bonus for me on this occasion was meeting Laurie Britton the co-founder / owner of Cafe Virtuoso who came across as a very modest person. Let the quality of the coffee do the talking !
