Elixir Espresso & Wine Bar

My wife and I have been here for lunch many times in recent years. The owner Neven is a very nice guy and maintains a very high standard in all his San Diego coffee shops. He has progressed to roasting his own coffee beans and they taste excellent. There is also a range of croissant sandwiches, flat breads & crepes not forgetting the Gelato selection. Oh and Opera desserts too which my wife loves. We stopped by here for a late lunch on Sunday.

Mushroom Flatbread

Katie looked after us nicely when we placed our order for 2 hazelnut lattes with 2 % milk plus a Mushroom Flatbread to share. We didn’t wait too long before our flatbread was delivered to our table by Katie around the same time that Alan brought over our lattes. Everything tasted really great which is why we have lunch here when we are riding our bikes in La Jolla. And we bought a 12 oz bag of Elixir’s Screaming Goat whole roasted coffee beans for home !
