If you haven’t been to New Orleans . . it’s all about the food & live music and if you have been here then you know it’s all about the food & live music. It’s a fun place ! My wife and I flew into New Orleans in late April 2017 for the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival to see Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers . . and they were great too ! We were told about this cafe by the barista at Envie Espresso Bar & Cafe in Decatur St . . . it’s a sister business.
We rolled up about 10am and the joint was packed to the rafters but hey no problem . . the hostess at the door takes your cell phone # and then texts you the minute your table is available. We waited maybe 10 minutes while wandering around the shops nearby. We were shown to a table near the front entrance and our server Tina looked after us perfectly the whole time. The cafe has a real happening vibe and the staff make it a fun experience.
The menu was huge with plenty of tempting breakfast dishes. I ordered the Crawfish Omelette and my wife kept it simple with the Breakfast Sandwich. Our meals tasted great and my fresh orange juice was terrific. Real friendly service from our servers Tina & Dominique made it even more enjoyable. The cafe is right in the heart of the French Quarter so there is a ton of neat stuff to see nearby. This is the place to enjoy a great breakfast almost anyway you want it . . and relax !
