ARTISAN COFFEE ROASTER !

Pastries

My wife found this place online and the reviews were pretty good. We were staying at the nearby Newport Beach Marriott Bayview on New Year’s Eve and needed good coffees the next morning. We made the short drive from the hotel around 7am after I phoned ahead to make sure they were open. The place didn’t look like anything special on the outside when we rolled up but that scenario changed dramatically when we walked in.

Coffee bags

Lots of coffee addicts relaxing with their luscious brews in a warm cozy cave. We ordered a couple of hot lattes, a small Quiche Lorraine + a Ham & Cheese Croissant at the service counter. The young lady named O taking our order was very efficient. We found a nice spot to sit and waited for our order to be ready. Our lattes had a pronounced chocolate note and tasted very good. We also bought a bag of Golden Mean whole roasted coffee beans for home.

Interior

My wife thought her Quiche Lorraine tasted great ! My Ham & Cheese Croissant wasn’t anything special but good enough for a light breakfast. I stuffed it down and went back to buy a slice of Chocolate Banana Loaf which O kindly offered to warm up. It tasted pretty good ! We were very pleased with our visit here. It’s a very comforting interior with interesting decor accents and a warm vibe. Thanks to staff members O, Sarah, Hayley & Cat for their kind and efficient service. We’ll be back for sure !
