My wife and I love great tasting Mediterranean food…who doesn’t ? We did some research online and found this highly rated eatery. We also needed to charge up my wife’s Tesla Y so it was a win win ! This shopping mall is huge and after plugging in the Tesla we hiked over here ( the other side of the mall ) around midday on Wednesday. Because of covid restrictions there was no dine-in and they were limiting customers ( 2 ) inside to order. A few diners were sitting outside enjoying their lunch when we arrived.
There was a menu taped to the window beside the entrance so we checked it out . . the Wrap It ( DONER KEBAB ) sounded good ! We walked in and immediately a male worker wearing a facial mask behind the shielded service counter greeted us and asked what we would like to order. 2 x Wrap It . . one Chicken ( Roasted Chicken Marinated with Lebanese Sauces ), one Meat ( Seasoned Lamb & Beef with Greek Spices ) both on fresh baked Lavash ( flatbread ).
My wife stuck with the standard base fillings while I went berserk adding Rice, Tzatziki, Tabouli, Feta Cheese, Kalamata Olives. These guys were pros . . I swear they were made and we paid within 3 minutes. We made ourselves comfortable at a table on the outdoor patio to enjoy our lunch. Everything tasted sensational . . fresh quality ingredients packed inside the lush Lavash Bread. Silly me forgot to add sweet chili sauce or spicy chili sauce. While we sat at our table there was a steady throng of customers popping inside to buy their lunch or picking up an online order. Hopefully they will open a location near us one day in San Diego. We thought our delicious lunch was sensational value for around $20 !
