SENSATIONAL LUNCH !

The long view inside.

On Sunday my wife and I took the subway Downtown to do a spot of shopping at Vuori Clothing in Spring St, Manhattan. After getting off the train we walked past this cool looking cafe which I had to check out.  After our shopping trip I suggested to my wife we should grab some lunch here. VERY BUSY ! Not a vacant table inside but my wife managed to nab a table on the sidewalk. A friendly manager / cashier named Waheed took our lunch order . . 2 x Cappuccinos with half & half milk + hazelnut syrup, 2 x Khaliat Alnahl ( a Yemeni dessert ), 1 x Caramel Chocolate IBB & 1 x Chocolate Pistachio Tart. I paid upfront and Waleed handed me a ready buzzer. In the meantime I joined my wife outside at our table on the sidewalk.

Our delicious lunch.

Before we knew it the ready buzzer went berserk so I headed inside to pick up our lunch order which was very neatly placed on a tray on the counter. GEE IT ALL LOOKED GOOD ! I walked towards the front entrance and Kaleed kindly held the door open for me. WHOO HOO ! Our cappuccinos tasted fabulous . . expertly made by Ibrahim esa the talented barista. OMG ! The Khaliat Alnahl tasted extraordinary . . I drizzled the side of honey on mine. A sweet savory dessert unlike any other. DESSERT ! My Chocolate Pistachio Tart tasted wickedly delicious and my wife loved her dark chocolate coated dessert ( chocolate sponge cake, chocolate mousse & caramel butter cream ). WHAT A TOP SPOT !
